This next reading is an excerpt from Olympia Morata’s speech in praise of Mucius Scaevola, written when she was 14 or 15, in 1541. Despite the Latin title, the speech was originally written in Ancient Greek. The version glossed with Latin/Greek can be found here, the just Greek version, here.
